Volunteering

As our projects and profile grow so too do the volunteering opportunities we have available.

This past year we’ve been supported by more than 500 volunteers who have become involved in a range of ways.

From bag packing and sponsored swims to providing admin support and helping at creative sessions, our volunteers are vital to the work we do.

Volunteering can take on many forms and we want to make sure there's something for everyone who wants to get involved, whether they have five minutes, five days or five months.

You can support us with gardening, creative sessions, hen-care and trips out plus there are many other hands-on opportunities.

"You couldn’t put a price on our volunteers. For our residents and staff they bring time, care and creative support, helping others to help themselves!"Wendy Bristow, manager at Parkfield House

"I like to be involved and meet people and supporting Equal Arts is a great way of doing this. Whether it’s in the creative sessions or helping out with the hens when I visit, I find it hugely worthwhile."Bob, a volunteer
