Take part in creative workshops with Equal Arts

We've teamed up with cultural, care and community venues across Gateshead and Newcastle for artist-led creative workshops.

All sessions are for people 55+ and those living with dementia and their carers. In Gateshead we deliver in sheltered housing schemes including Wood Green, Mulgrave Villas, Angel Court, Pleasent Place and Blenheim Court. We also bring 'in the moment' creative workshops to dementia care settings and community venues.

Supported by our team, the workshops are informal, inclusive and provide an opportunity to come along, have a go and explore your creativity, no experience neccessary!

Mondays

The Craftcrookers - visual arts workshops at Blaydon Library, 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

Tuesdays

Tuesday Techne - visual arts at Hatton Gallery, Kings Road, Newcastle University, Newcastle, 10.30am - 12.30pm. Online and in person.

Wednesdays

Create and Connect at Shipley Art Gallery, Prince Consort Road, Gateshead, 10am - 12pm.

Thursdays

City Lines at Newcastle City Library on Level 1, visual arts group, 10.30am - 12.30pm.

Carers' Cultural Adventures, creative workshops at the Shipley Art Gallery, Prince Consoret Road, Gateshead, 1pm - 3pm.

HenPower at Wood Green, Bill Quay, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE10 0SX, 1.30pm - 3.30pm.
