Autumn programme launched for Creative Ageing "arts on prescription" scheme
Aug 30 2011This Autumn four activity groups are on offer:
- Digital Storytelling at Gateshead Library, with Julie Ballands
- A film project based around old films on the theme of Social Life from 1950-1970, with Joss Forester-Melville at Gilmore House
- Movement and dance around music linked to the dance halls between 1950 and 1970, with Mona McCarthy at Fountain Court
- Music, writing songs and singing at Victoria House, with Nicky Rushton at Victoria House.
Referral to the project is primarily by GPs, Occupational Therapists or other health workers.
