We've come a long way

Residents from two residential homes, Bamburgh Court and Chichester Court, the James Walsh Centre and young people from All Saints Primary School in South Shields worked on stories and memories of the community, focusing on the Irish community.

This was turned into a play by Gez Casey which was performed by the children and the older people at the Customs house and at the day centre.

Residents of the home also worked with artist Cath Walshaw to create artwork on hand-made paper they produced themselves.
