Way To Go – Darlington bereavement project
Partners: Age Concern Darlington and Stephenson Education Village
Artist Adam Baldwin is working with a group of older people, along with young people from the Stephenson Education Village who have social, emotional or educational difficulties. Together they have created designs for a ceremonial gateway to be located in Darlington’s West Cemetery.
Initial designs for the gates are being submitted for planning approval and for public consultation before the project is finalised in 2011.
